Music career focus: I've got a great relationship with Brian Boru's where I play quite often and I have quality representation in GC Booking, so I'm gigging as much as I care to. Right now, I would love to record CD's with Christine Kittrell as well as Big Joe Duskin. I've got a ton of ideas about those recordings, I just need to find someone willing to get behind them.

Personal Statement:

Sean Carney: " I've been very fortunate to have several good teachers; My dad, Larry Carney, who gave me the gift of music. My uncle, Dave West, who turned me on to Blues in the first place. Christine Kittrell, Jimmy "T-99" Nelson, and "Old Boss" Raleigh Randolph all taught me a great deal about the music business; how to cunduct myself in a professional manner, appearance, working with sidemen, and a great deal more. I feel that I've achieved what I have in music because of this "education." I want to be accepted on my own terms; for the music I want to play and for who I am."
